Submissions are now closed and the judging is beginning posthaste. A lot of you didn't actually post your submissions in this thread, but I'll let it slide this time.

This has been a learning experience, and I recognize several things that could and should be improved upon so that our next compilation will go much smoother, but that's not to say there were any big problems either.

We've got a final track list, everything's all mastered and ready to go, and the winners have been chosen! Now you get to wait in anticipation for the album to be released, which is still on track for February 6th!

Here's the track list:

As for the winners, Glowtide takes first prize with Gobui taking second.

We chose winners based on one simple criterion: How well did the song fit the theme? The entire squad (minus one person due to internet problems) picked their top three based on that, and their first choice got 3 points, second choice gets 2, and third choice gets 1. Myself and Wontolla were both out of the running for prizes since I'm hosting this thing and Wontolla asked to be. With 11 votes, here's how it turned out:

1. Glowtide: 20
2. Gobui: 16
3. springsight: 12
4. From Ashes: 9
5. Christian Royle: 5
6. 5nak: 3
7. Leoht: 1

I'll be the first to admit that this is absolutely not a flawless system, especially considering that I forgot to think about how we were going to judge submissions until judging actually started. Also not a flawless system is how the prizes are going to be distributed, but we'll take it as it comes and get it done regardless. Next time, I'll have a much better plan, promise.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who entered or contributed, congrats to the winners, and let me just say, this album is solid.
